Product description

Description: The solid walnut top is supported by a steel stem and solid marble base. Nove, which means “nine” in Italian, began as a collection of side tables for Lissoni’s sofa called Otto, or “eight”. When the table evolved into a solution for dining, we knew Nove was a solid 10. Made in Italy.
Materials: Solid walnut tabletop; steel stem; solid Nero Marquina or Carrara marble base.

Concept

From architecture to furniture to yachts, Piero Lissoni works magic with simple lines. He strives to create interiors “that are clean and more or less silent,” says the gregarious and charming Italian. His Nove Table (2016) – one of several projects he’s completed for Cassina, the company that makes furniture by Le Corbusier – began with an idea for a table that can adapt, like an understated and elegant watch or accessory, to any interior in any home.
