Coco Series
Drapery fabrics from Designtex, Designed by Dashorst Hélène
Product description
Named for the iconic fashion designer Coco Chanel, the Coco Series--conceived by renowned Dutch textile designer Hélène Dashorst--is a group of three luxurious fabrics that celebrate innovation in spinning techniques and the creation of unusual yarns, combining lustrous and matte effects in an inventive way.
“I wanted to create upholstery fabrics that had a fashionable but modern look—Chanel for the interior,” says Dashorst. “I collaborated with a mill that understood what I was after and created custom warps for me that mixed a variety of yarns in a random layout. With their special yarns I was able to experiment on my handloom and arrive at the final constructions.”
Use: Upholstery
Width: 52-54”
Weight: 19-25 ounces/linear yard
Fabric: 79% Rayon, 21% Cotton
