Designtex + Charley Harper - Space for All Species
Drapery fabrics from Designtex
Product description
Space for All Species was a commissioned work that was executed as a mural of ceramic tile in the Cincinnati Federal Building in 1964. Working within the constraint of using only colored squares or triangles, Charley successfully captured the spirit of over 100 different animals. With butterflies and crocodiles appearing at the same size, this mural shows how Charley played with scale to alter our perceptions of nature.
