Corner Chair 15
Chairs from Lehni, Designed by Donald Judd
Product description
Donald Judd was impressed by the quality of workmanship and the industrial production techniques used at Lehni AG. He used the high quality of materials and the meticolous manufacturing process to develop a series of totally 16 metal furniture items including benches, stools, tables and chairs. They display clear simple shapes, reduced to their minimal features and are in line with the Judd wood furniture pieces. The metal furniture utilizes the specific properties and processing techniques of metals. They are very functional made solely of straight metal elements in rectangular structures.
Lehni AG started in 2002 manufacturing Judd metal furniture items again in the same quality and tradition Donald Judd had set as a standard according to the original drawings. The produced items are individually numbered and stamped. They are available in 21 different colours and are made in copper, brass or aluminium sheet metal.
