Table skin embroidery
Dining-table accessories from Droog, Designed by DeJongeKalff
Product description
Take an art piece of the Rijksmuseum home. DeJongeKalff made a white silicone cast of the elegant geometric “embroidery example with rectangular shield” carved in wood between 1507 – 1521 by Albrecht Dürer. The inverse engraving is a table cloth much like classical white damast table linen but durable, waterproof and easy to clean.
Concept
Material: silicon rubber, stretch textile. The tablecloth can be cleaned using warm water and soap, don’t use bleach and/or any other dissolvent. After cleaning you can rub the top side of the tablecloth with a thin layer of talcum powder to make it less static.
