Gispen Diagonal chair

With the diagonal chair, Willem H. Gispen earned an international reputation as a designer of tubular-framed furniture. The chair's frame is formed by a single shaped tube, with just two welded joints and a back rail of bamboo. An authentic reproduction of this 1927 design is now available from Dutch Originals. Our chair is exactly like the original in every respect, with a back and seat of woven rattan and a frame in polished or silk-finish chrome.

The diagonal chair is available with or without armrests.
