Mayo circular

Benches from Escofet 1886, Designed by Antonio Cruz, Antonio Ortiz

Product description

MAYO CIRCULAR was originally designed to be an eye-catching streetscape element for the Health Technology Campus in Granada, Spain. It is an evolution of the original MAYO bench, created by the same authors in 1990. The two items form a neutral, abstract collection for use anywhere- a basic vocabulary for the environment. Formulated with rigorous, simple designs for universal application, they interrelate well with the ground and the horizontal plane.
The rotund geometry of MAYO CIRCULAR punctuates the space in individual or clustered configurations of two or three circles. They have compatible heights to permit overlapping arrangements that permit flexible uses of the clusters as benches, tables and also as platforms for resting.
They come in three heights: 30, 45 and 60 cm, with a common 230 cm diameter. Their perforated checkerboard surface drains rainwater, increases ventilation and lowers the surface temperature in the sun.

Reinforced cast Stone / Standard color chart. / Finished etched and waterproofed. / Anchored with screws / Dimensions: Ø230x45cm: 853 Kg.
