Pedreta

PEDRETA is a small litter bin with an acid-etched stone finish, available in all the standard cast stone colours. This is a parallelepiped tipped forward to invite its use. Its geometry includes a front mouth to deposit litter and a stainless steel inspection door that covers the entire rear plane to facilitate emptying of the 50 litre plastic container. The volume rests directly on the ground, without requiring anchorage on account of its self-supporting stability. Formal sobriety and simple installation are the outstanding features of this litter bin, which strikes up a conversation with the benches and other street furniture in the same colour and material. PEDRETA was designed for Escofet by architect Enric Pericas in 2002.
