Brasiliana Armchair
Armchairs from Espasso, Designed by Jorge Zalszupin
Product description
Concept
Jorge Zalszupin designed the Brasiliana armchair and sofa in the late 1950's as an homage to Brasilia - the ultra-modern Brazilian capital designed by Oscar Niemeyer. Sinuous forms shape its wooden frame, reminiscent of Niemeyer’s signature curves, as impeccable crafted details, such as wooden carved upholstery buttons, voluminous cushions, bolster pillow and brass hardware complete the Brasiliana as a mid-century classic in production for the first time since its original launch.
