Moot

The Moot chair reflects Ross Lovegrove’s continuing fascination with carbon fibre; a lightweight, high-strength material whose use has been pioneered by aircraft and racing engineers for its unique combination of properties. The complex curvature, with a cantilevered seat turning toward the back of the chair, could not be achieved using any other material. Modelled double-sided carbon fibre sheets give strength and stability, achieving maximum performance for the use of the least possible material whilst also reflecting Lovegrove’s love for the organic, anatomical forms evolved from nature.
