Cities is a series of micro-architectures by designer Carlo Massoud. This piece is inspired by the Franziskaner-Klosterkirche in Berlin, Germany. Founded in 1250 as a monastery church for a Franciscan house. Built in the early Gothic style, it was destroyed during World War II. Today it is home to many exhibitions, plays and concerts. Inspired by world travels, each Cities piece is a reinterpretation of a global landmark - a structure that has significant historical, architectural, or cultural meaning.
