Concept

Plant Bondage reinterprets the planter into something more elegant and fanciful. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese bonsai tradition of Kokedama, Farrah Sit, and Taylor Patterson of Fox Fodder Farm wanted to create a self-sustaining structure for the hanging plants. They built minimalist fixtures from which to hang an ethereal floating plant, creating a home for the plant to live on its own.
