Inspired by the design of the everyday school satchel, Swiss design house, Atelier Oï, created a whimsical panel consisting of two identical elements joined by nylon belts. This unique construction results in 100% sound absorption with a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 1.05. In the wall-mounted variant, these felt-wrapped recycled PET panels attach to the wall, either vertically or horizontally, holding the panel an optimum 10 cm (4 in) away from the wall so that absorption can occur on both sides.
