An Heirloom is handcrafted using traditional nineteenth centurty techniques. This involves more time consuming methods and greater attanetion to detail. Each piece is authenticated by the craftsmen, assuring a genuine British hand-made product.
* Full analine cow hides, hand-sewn, hand coloured and wax finishes
* Hand-joined hardwood internal frame; dowlled, glued and screwed
* Solid mahogany wood for all visible parts of frame and legs where applicable
* Combination steel abd fish mouth spring systems hand-sewn in for optimum support
* Layered stuffing with cotton felt and hand-sewn seat lip
* Duck feather seat filling as standard; optional non-allergic fibre and foam
* Solid brass castors where applicable
* Individually hand-nailed antiqued gold studding
