Product description
The name is inspired by California dreaming.
Big Sur is an area of California with dramatic views, epitomising the dream of a free and wonderful life (and the reason why so many people choose to drive the popular Highway 1).
The table fills a gap for large, elegant coffee tables that not only fit in larger homes, where they are surrounded by an entire seating group, but also work as an everyday table in apartments where they are literally used for everything (eating, working, a place to put a bowl of crisps). A table for all ages and all kinds of spaces.
Big Sur is an elegant and innovative coffee table made up of glass sheets available in four different colours. Mixing and matching the colours on the top and bottom layer means the table’s shadow casts different shades, creating dramatic contrasts. The numerous possible combinations make it easy to create interesting variations and “landscapes”.
The table is the result of a collaboration between Fogia and some young designers. A glass expert (Simon Klenell), a wood expert (Kristoffer Sundin) and Fogia’s skilled craftspeople have joined forces to make complicated solutions look easy.
A glass table with oak legs for customer assembly (delivered flat-packed).
The top has a metal bracket mounted with UV-curing adhesive where the legs are attached.
Material information:
Legs in solid oak, three recommended colours
Top and shelf in tempered, coloured 10 mm glass.
Available in the colours: clear, dark blue, green and brown
Dimensions:
Width: 110 cm
Length: 110 cm
Height: 27 cm

Note! “The shelf is only intended for newspapers and other items, and should not be used as a footrest.”
