Product description

Suspension lamp with diffused light. Internal structure in liquid coated steel and aluminium. The LED boards were purpose-designed by Foscarini to achieve a superior level of colour rendering (CRI) and retaining the same colour temperature as a halogen light source (degrees Kelvin). Both the upper and the lower LED board are installed on an aluminium disc that acts as a dissipator, protected by a small PMMA disc. Diffuser consisting of two layers of three-dimensional deformable fabric in white PBC. The luminaire is attached to the ceiling canopy by three steel cables. The electrical cables are transparent and unipolar. White ceiling canopy. Electric decentralisation kit available.

Concept

Capable of outlining spectacular and well-articulated profiles, Nuée gives shape to the contrast between spontaneity and coordination in a lamp with an appearance that cannot be grasped but instead merely contemplated. Nuée is a lamp with a strong scenic impact, achieved by overlapping layers of a technical three-dimensional fabric. The pattern can be modelled to create areas of
chiaroscuro, which light shines through in a suggestive manner.
