Concept
Pato Table Series
Key to the Pato concept is the desire to create the simplest design which could lend itself to countless applications. The Pato Table Series achieves all that and more. In a look that’s clean and contemporary, available in a variety of variants that give you flexibility and freedom.
Adding to Pato Table’s appeal is a range of heights, table top sizes and shapes. The lower height is designed to intuitively accommodate lounge settings, break-out spaces in corporate scenarios or public waiting areas. There’s another height optimised for comfortable dining or work sessions, as well as a third height that’s perfect for bars.
The simple aesthetic makes the Pato Table the perfect partner to pair with the Pato Chair Collection or virtually any chair. Conceived with the right material options and dimensions for it to be one concept versatile enough for numerous segments, settings and visual styles.
Pato Chair Collection
With the Pato series, Fredericia’s legacy of immaculate detailing and craftsmanship meets today’s industrial standard - the multipurpose plastic chair. The human-centred design is the work of Danish-Icelandic design duo Welling / Ludvik. Presented in 2013 after nearly three years of development, Pato sets a new standard for the execution and finish of polypropylene material. The series meets every possible contemporary demand for home, office, and public spaces and is available in upholstered versions for extra comfort and different visual statements.
MADE IN DENMARK
Pato’s polypropylene shell is produced completely in Denmark. Engaging close collaboration with local subcontractors, Fredericia has complete control over all stages of production. All chairs are assembled and quality controlled at our factory in Fredericia.
ECO FRIENDLY
Pato is produced in environmentally friendly polypropylene and steel. With it’s shell manufactured in Denmark and all other assembly in Denmark as well every chair is fully quality controlled during all stages of the manufacturing process.
The frame is made from quality steel and surface treated with solvent-free powder coating or chrome-plated with Chrome3. The chrome plating complies with lacquer coating standards (DS/EN ISO 1456), thus eliminating any risk of nickel allergy.
At the end of its life cycle, the chair can easily be disassembled for sorting at source. All components are 100% recyclable and can be incorporated into future furniture production.
SUBLIME FINISH AND DURABILITY
The chair is tested for durability at the Danish Technological institute and passes at the highest level (Hard use in public spaces). The Pato Shell has a dense content structure that ensures a silky, yet resilient, surface. The bevelled edge ensures that the chair conforms optimally to the user’s body, so that the chair is comfortable even after prolonged usage.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONAL FEATURES
- Couplings
- Suspensions for chairs
- Writing desk arms for auditoriums
- Carrying handles
