Wall panels from Freund
Product description
LARCH TREE BARK – Larch bark pictures and walls
In ancient times, the larch was considered as faith and custom "Holy tree" – and this meaning still applies today. Larch was said to protect against evil, such as witches or fire. Larch wood has been a popular building material for a long time as well - not only in mountain regions. Its high resin content makes it particularly wind proof and weather proof. This is why it is often used in the form of roof shingles.
The bark of European larch creates a very special interior design. The up to 100 mm (3.94 inch) thick bark has an earthy red-brown character, and it is traversed with deep furrows.
Cautiously removed from trees – which are intended for furniture and house development – and applied to slabs, the larch impresses with its unique appearance in natural interior design concepts.
