Product description
Radar, an iconic collection of lounge chairs, represents the excellence of refined and always up-to-date design and craftsmanship.
A point of arrival for those who are dealing with the design of interdisciplinary spaces, Radar redefines the dimensions of the armchair, sinuously softening the shapes and giving it a three-dimensionality that turns it into an elegant protagonist of the space it is destined to inhabit.
Born from the creative minds of Marten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune, it is designed to provide an interpretation of multi-purpose spaces, such as receptive, representative and catering environments.
Each version is characterized by the enveloping and curved combination of the body and backrest, made of metal covered with cold polyurethane foam and finally padded in fabric or leather: a trait that guarantees aesthetic and design unity.
Radar is available in four different versions, dimensionally determined by the different volumes of the backrest, which allows the organization of spaces and people’s interactions. The extra-large backrest version generates a natural alcove where you can find a dimension of recollection and concentration.
The seat cushion is removable to ensure easier maintenance. The lounge chair is available in a fixed version or with a swivel base.
The Radar sofa is the natural complement to the lounge seating collection of the same name which, from the outset, has been an iconic reference point for anyone involved in the design of representative, multifunctional and public areas.
Elegant and full of personality, Radar defines the space in which it is placed through its sinuous and enveloping lines made of cold foam with an internal perimeter metal frame. The Radar sofa, available in the two-seater version, offers three backrests of increasing height that satisfy a progressive need for privacy and recollection, maintaining an intimate atmosphere but in continuous relationship with the surrounding environment.
Thinking of the needs of an urban and demanding user, concrete, constantly interconnected and on the move, the Radar sofa updates its offer through accessories that allow its electrification and networking. The sofa cushion has a removable cover to ensure easier maintenance and there is also a removable cushion for lumbar support.
Not only design, but a continuous dialogue between form and function at the service of contemporary design.
Eclectic by definition, free from all compositional constraints, Radar poufs open up to infinite formal and chromatic combinations, while ensuring a relaxing and comfortable seat.
The particular rounded and convex shape on the top, the soft and conical line of the structure, is the first distinctive note of the modular system of Radar poufs; a stylistic choice that matches sofas and armchairs and gives rooms an elegant and creative character.
The Radar pouf collection is divided into six modules, different in shape and size, like so many segments and figures that can be freely distributed and reconfigured according to requirements. They are developed in linear poufs seating 1, 2, 3 people, while the particular geometries of the L-shaped, triangular or square poufs designed to seat 2 to 4 people form conversation islands that can gather or separate a group of people.
The internal structure is made of polyurethane foam while the base is made of mdf covered in black leatherette, and equipped with non-slip felt pads.
All poufs can be ordered with an optional 5V A+A USB socket integrated into the structure (not available for the 1-seater).
The Radar poufs, designed to furnish informal environments, lounge areas, common and multifunctional spaces, interpret the spirit of the times, encourage aggregation and the development of interpersonal relationships, generating an informal atmosphere.
The wide availability of fabrics and finishes encourages the utmost creativity, giving environments a character that is always up-to-date.
