Surface decoration involves the more traditional forms of glass decoration; sandblasting, acid etching, gilding and screenprinting. Sandblasting is the most versatile form of etching glass and a process in which Fusion Glass Designs excels.
Effects range from simple frosting, which can incorporate etched logos, patterns and graphics to more complex deep carved, three-dimensional work. Subtle effects can be achieved using hard and soft lines, semi-tones, layering and a variety of textures. Fusion has designed and created a wide range of commissions.

production capabilities
Using our extensive sandblasting facilities fusion can work on large production runs as well as complex commissions. Panels can be produced in any size up to 3m x 5m (118" x 198") and in any thickness. We can sandblast all types of glass: flat sheet, curved annealed, toughened tempered, laminate, colour coated and kiln formed. From highly decorative carved work to standard textures and finishes.
