Homogeneous light with modular LED lighting solutions from GALAXY® profiles

Intelligent product design and unique product compatibility are the basis for future-oriented LED lighting concepts. LED profile systems from GALAXY® profiles are modular LED lighting solutions. The individual system components can be put together with little effort, simply and quickly using a click-connect system and mounted in an object-friendly way.

NARROW, LIGHT AND BENDABLE! The PO13 LED CONSTRUCTION profile is made of high-quality aluminium (anodized) and comes standard with 200 cm length. It is suitable for LED flexbands up to a max. width of 15 mm and can be bent (see sketch) without losing functionality or compactness. Important: the LED flexband should be glued into the profile only after bending! This avoids kinks, bulges or defects on the LED strips. The profile cover (opal / satin - translucency 65%) consists of shatterproof and flame-retardant polycarbonate (classification UL94 V-2 flammability) and is clicked on the outside of the profile and thus covers the aluminium area. The result is a consistently homogeneous light bar that blends into the room design and creates excellent lighting conditions. The profile cover can also be supplied in a length of 6 m. Due to the low weight of this profile system, it can be attached with double-sided tape (see accessories).

Recommendation
For excellent adhesion of the self-adhesive LED strips, we recommend the thorough cleaning and degreasing of the profile insides with a cleaner - see accessories.

Important NOTE:
Use in wet areas or outdoors is only possible in sealed form. Special protection against moisture and water is provided by silicone, which is applied to the joints for sealing purposes. Absolute watertightness is achieved with the LED profile systems by casting with Wepuran casting resin based on polyurethane resin (PUR). When selecting the LED Flexband, make sure that the protection class specified by the manufacturer (at least IP65) is maintained.

Assembly and custom-made production (OEM)
From a minimum purchase quantity onwards, the LED profiles and plastic covers from our standard range are custom-assembled or custom-made to customer-specific length specifications up to max. 6 m total length per LED profile system. Upon request, LED aluminium profiles by GALAXY® profiles can be produced in all RAL colours (powder coating).
