Concept
CATTELIN is one of Gemla's most classic and robust chairs, designed by Axel Kandell 1948 for restaurant Cattelin in Stockholm.
It's solid bent contruction makes CATTELIN almost indestructible, and is by that reason one of Gemla's most popular chairs of all time. The story tells that the designer threw the chair through the window from the third floor, to prove it's strength. The chair didn't break.
CATTELIN is made of solid beech, with soft seat upholstered with horse hair and certified wool.
