Product description

Sofas with the frame in aluminium powder painted in carob colour. The seat is made up of a belt frame painted powder painted. The cushions are in expanded polyurethane and fibre for outdoor, with a waterproof cover. For the codes 87051 and 87052 a slat is available to be placed on the right or on the left of the sofa, to be chosed between the following materials: Abonos oak, afrormosia wood and Etna lava stone. The upholstery, with fabrics from the Open-air collection, is completely removable, with the piping in waterproof eco-leather available in various colour shades. For codes 87050, 87051 and 87052 a second optional cushion is available to complete the backrest.

A combination of materials and textures inspires the concept of the GEA small sofa. On a carob coloured steel frame, the soft, completely water-proof cushions covered in a collection of fabrics in highly sophisticated textures and colours, suggest comfort and create a pleasing contrast with the minimal lines of the base. The texture of the woods, in pure abonos oak (a thousand-year old fossil wood sourced from rivers) or afrormosia, or the patterns of the Etna lava stone, give a three dimensional quality to the panel that finishes one of the sofa's two sides.

Concept

From the Greek γαια, meaning “the earth", GEA is a collection of furniture and objects designed by Chi Wing Lo, which celebrates the beauty and openness of outdoor living. The morning sun, the breeze at sunset, the approaching rain...all reflected in the choice of materials, where every detail has been designed for living closer to nature. Sophisticated materials and nature's temperament come together to create a collection of chairs, tables, sofas, beach loungers, parasols, lamps and objects to help us enjoy and love a simple life outdoors.
