Loom stool by Ptolemy Mann

Stools from H Furniture, Designed by Hierve, Ptolemy Mann

Product description

Hierve’s Loom stool has been reimagined by British artist and textiles designer Ptolemy Mann.
The four-legged Loom stool pays homage to the ancient folk art of Mexican weaving.
Threads of elastic polyester woven cord are stretched to provide a comfortable seating experience.
Mann has produced a series of compositions, using the interrelationships of the threaded cord to create intriguing patterns and colour combinations. Her woven compositions are available in beautifully combined shades of green, deep blue and yellow.
The frame has been precisely carved by a computer-controlled CNC machine and then carefully sanded and finished by hand. The Loom stool is available in a choice of solid oak and American walnut.
