Product description

AAL 83 SOFT
The AAL 83 Soft fuses the minimalist, more angular aesthetics of the moulded plywood frame with the softness and warmth of the quilted shell. Retaining the same compact body, shaped armrests, and simple, sculpted design that characterise the rest of the lounge series, this design features a solid base with angled legs that slant slightly outwards for optimal stability. The base is available in different finishes and the quilted shell is offered in a variety of upholstery options, providing a multitude of design combinations that give this series versatility in a wide range of corporate, public, and private contexts.

Concept

The About a Lounge Soft collection is the result of a long-term collaboration between HAY and designer Hee Welling. Retaining the same compact body, shaped armrests, and simple, sculpted design that characterise the rest of the lounge series, these models are softened by the warmth and comfort of the quilted shell. Featuring interchangeable bases in steel, aluminium or wood with different finishes, and upholstery offered in mono or duo options, the AAL Soft series provides a multitude of design combinations for a wide range of corporate, public, and private contexts.
