General
Hidden Sound provides services for spatial sound design, as well as equipment of spaces with the Hidden ARX built-in in-wall or in-ceiling speakers, providing perfect conditions for optimal sound reproduction. Hidden ARX speakers are designed for custom made sound systems planned for each bespoke space requirement, with a clever mounting system for easy installation.

Installation
The installation process is providing an easy and efficient implementation into any home or commercial space design. Hidden ARX speakers represent the perfect balance of performance and design required by system integrators worldwide. They fit into any decor and impress most discerning listeners with the cutting-edge quality of Hidden Sound. The customer is obliged to provide installation and cabling according to Hidden Sound’s specifications, while Hidden Sound is obliged to be present when connecting the speakers to the system, as well as to perform the final processing of all digital sound in the space, when the whole system is activated by the sound integrator.

Four HIDDEN ARX installation options:

1. HIDDEN ARX as PASSIVE SPEAKERS

HIDDEN ARX loudspeakers can be installed as passive speakers, as part of any other integrated sound system, with 3rd party subwoofers and receivers, without any other HIDEN SOUND parts.

In this installation option HIDDEN SOUND delivers the speakers in a mode for sound integrators like any other 4ohm HiFi audiophile passive speakers. The only difference is that the HIDDEN ARX speakers are truly invisible. They can be built into any dry-wall or -ceiling construction, with an 6 cm airspace to construction wall or ceiling, and seamlessly be plastered and painted over, without loosing its signatory sound quality.

Those invisible passive speakers are then connected to the sound integrators’ regular receivers, as well as the rest of the system. The audio rule is that you need a minimum of one subwoofer per enclosed space (room), and a minimum of two loudspeakers, preferably with tweeters. The number of speakers per room and per subwoofer are determinded by the receiver’s capacity and by the sound integrators’ plan and design. This means that for music stereo listening purposes you may install 2 or 4 speakers, and for TV Surroundexperience purposes you may easily install 5.1 or 7.1 speakers in your room, both following your receiver‘s specs.

2. HIDDEN ARX as part of a CLOSED ACTIVE HIDDEN SOUND BLUETOOTH SYSTEM

HIDDEN ARX loudspeakers can be installed as active speakers, as part of a closed HIDDEN SOUND integrated sound system, with own HIDDEN SOUND subwoofers and amplifiers, built into each subwoofer.

In this installation option HIDDEN SOUND delivers the speakers and the subwoofers in a mode that sound integrators just connect the wiring between the speakers and the subwoofers. The client then plays the sound by connecting it via his own Bluetooth device, like any other HIDDEN SOUND B2C set (ECO or EVO). For this solution, we use a newly developed HIDDEN ARX CUBE as subwoofer-cum-amplifier.

The benefits of this solution is that the speakers are truly invisible, built into any dry-wall or -ceiling construction, and plastered and painted over. The audio rule is that you need a minimum of one subwoofer per enclosed space (room), and a minimum of two loudspeakers, preferably with tweeters. The limitations are that you can link a maximum of two sets with one Bluetooth signal (one subwoofer with two or four speakers) as master and servant, to play the same sound, and they have to be in visual contact with each other to a distance of up to 10 meters. Sets in different rooms cannot be connected with each other.

3. HIDDEN ARX as part of a CUSTOM MADE WIFI CLOSED ACTIVE HIDDEN SOUND SYSTEM

HIDDEN ARX loudspeakers can be installed as active speakers, as part of a custom made closed active HIDDEN SOUND integrated sound system, with own HIDDEN SOUND subwoofers and amplifiers, built into each subwoofer, controlled by WiFi.

In this installation option HIDDEN SOUND delivers the speakers and the subwoofers, so that sound integrators just connect the wiring between the speakers and the subwoofers. The client then plays the sound by connecting it via his own Wifi controller, or connected with cables to a central mixer. For this solution, we use a custom made HIDDEN subwoofer-cum-amplifier, which can be a freestanding bas reflex subwoofer, or a bandpass subwoofer, made to measure to be built into any interior design solution to fit with the space designed. This means that the subwoofer can be delivered in different measures, fitting to requirements given to us by the interior designer, in order to hide it in cabinets or walls, with just a visible vent for the bass sound, which can be covered with a grill or mesh.

The benefits of this solution is that the speakers are truly invisible, built into any dry-wall or -ceiling construction, and plastered and painted over. The audio rule is that you need a minimum of one subwoofer per enclosed space (room), and a minimum of two loudspeakers, preferably with tweeters. You can link as many sets and rooms via WIFi, and control them all centrally with an optional HIDDEN SOUND tablet, or your own mixer. The tablet will be driven by a new developed HIDDEN SOUND APP, with a zoning system for any space requirements.

4. HIDDEN ARX as part of SOUND INTERGRATORS’ SMART HOUSE SYSTEMS

HIDDEN ARX loudspeakers can be installed as active speakers, as part of a custom made closed active HIDDEN SOUND integrated sound system, with own HIDDEN SOUND subwoofers and amplifiers, built into each subwoofer, connected by WiFi, controlled by any industry standard SMART HOUSE SOUND or AUTOMATION SYSTEM, and / or by an open source controlled WiFi router.

In this installation option HIDDEN SOUND delivers the speakers and the subwoofers, so that sound integrators just connect the wiring between the speakers and the subwoofers. Additionally HIDDEN SOUND can develop the necessary coding (API-based) to connect to the integrators’ SMART HOUSE SOUND or AUTOMATION SYSTEM, and the client then plays the sound by connecting it via his own SMART HOUSE SOUND or AUTOMATION SYSTEM. Or even better, we base the whole sound integration on an open source controlled WiFi router.

For this solution, we use a custom made HIDDEN SOUND subwoofer-cum-amplifier, which can be a freestanding bas reflex subwoofer, or a bandpass subwoofer, made to measure to be built into any interior design solution to fit with the space designed.
