Sofas from Hitch|Mylius, Designed by David Chipperfield Architects
Product description
Concept
Continuing David Chipperfield's collaboration with Hitch Mylius, the development of hm93 has given further consideration to the use of upholstered seating within shared spaces. The range includes a generously proportioned double-fronted unit with the option of staggered backs to provide either more or less intimacy depending on the requirement of the space. The collection allows for the individual elements to be used independently as well as in modular arrangements. The refined seat platform and back-rest provides a high degree of comfort whilst the modularity of the design, with its distinctive inset back positions, offers a dynamic and well-defined aesthetic.
Frames of beech and panel construction are upholstered in graded CMHR foams. Legs are of fine-brushed stainless steel. A wide range of covering materials can be used, and seats and back-rests may be upholstered in contrasting fabrics.
Seat height: 410mm
