Concept

Kyoto Kiribako Kougei has been manufacturing kiribako (Paulownia wooden boxes) and tea ceremony utensils for more than 140 years. Wooden boxes and objects specialist, Kiribako Kougei work with different essence of wood to create delicate objects, or indigeneous boxes. This time, they created with designers Garnier & Linker, a washi table lamp that uses the techniques of kiribako crafting, showcasing the harmony of wood and light.
