Mobius Small Pendant
Suspended lights from Hubbardton Forge
Product description
Our Mobius Pendant is named after August Ferdinand Möbius, the discoverer of the Möbius Strip-a structure having a single surface that is simultaneously an inside and outside boundary. Concept
Math and sculpture meet in our Mobius Collection. A self-proclaimed math geek, designer David Martin took naming inspiration from mathematician August Ferdinand Möbius, discoverer of the Möbius Strip. David says the steel Mobius Pendant's shape gives it the unique characteristic of having a single surface that is both an inside and outside boundary. While our craftspeople had to use consummate skill and creativity to make steel flow seamlessly in three dimensions, all you have to do is enjoy the beauty of the piece.
