Concept
The tapestries made of i-Mesh, in Alberto Fiorenzi's proposed collection, are lpoetic maps that can hang against a wall or in the open, creating curtains or separating spaces. The Tapestries can be unique pieces or small numbered and signed series.
Archaeological excavations of memories weave ever-changing and developing textures, like those designed by the machine that lays the carbon thread on the large flat surface, on which the various layers of i-Mesh are placed until reaching the design of a complex semi-transparent figure. These weaves are actually tales, stories, maps for reconstructing the fabric of a reality that escapes us at times, in a continuous, ambiguous game bringing a focus on memories and desires. They are like large filters for observing the play of light, but also for choosing and writing the shapes of a visual poem.
