Concept
The Donkey was first advertised through Penguin Books in 1939 therefore inheriting the name. Useful for newspapers and magazines it also holds up to 80 paperback hooks.

The 'Donkey' was then renamed the 'Isokon Penguin Donkey': 'Donkey' because it had four legs and two panniers - its body was hollow to provide space for papers.
