Boro 10
Rugs from Jan Kath, Designed by Jan Kath Design
Product description
250 x 300 cm
Concept
The inspiration for BORO is an old patchwork technique from Japan, where longs strips of worn-out fabrics are sewn together to produce exclusive wall hangings. Jan Kath has interpreted this idea in his designs. The material mix of wool, silk, and nettle fibers gives the collection its almost transparent depth.
