Staircase systems from Jo-a, Designed by Sébastien Boucquey
Product description
Concept
A floating staircase often necessitates an important hidden structure that cannot be integrated into just any wall. Sébastien Boucquey has changed the rules with his unique suspended staircase with its tight, graphic lines. The steel wires are attached to a ceiling beam and delicately define the volume of the staircase while still providing reassuring support for the user. The post goes all the way to the upper level. It acts as a rail, while still creating large receding lines. The visible stringer board integrated into the wall designs the archetypal staircase.
