A plate and four graceful legs – table ONDERBANKEN is simultaneously expressive and timeless. This piece is perfect for the living room or dining area, as well as being wonderfully suited to a professional environment thanks to its puristic design.
The 4 cm-thick table plate is made from recycled timber, and rests upon a frame of 6 cm x 3 cm-thick steel tube. The steel is durable and corrosion resistant. Due to the individual processing of the steel frame, each piece is unique and convinces with its rough industrial charm. The sturdy table plate is treated with organic hard wax oil, which cares for and protects for the wood while accentuating its patina. Thanks to its clean form, ONDERBANKEN is both inviting and restrained, thus fitting into a wide variety of living spaces. For example, with customised dimensions the model functions brilliantly as a (child’s or teenager’s) desk.
As with all our products, this piece is manufactured in co-operation with regional producers under most the environmentally friendly conditions possible.
