A Sideboard made from recycled oak wood and steel.
The VAALS sideboard, with its industrial-style design of recycled oak wood combined with rust-sealed steel, provides a rough yet refined look to your premises. The model can also function as a lowboard; providing an attractive space for a television, or other, decorative items.
The foundation of the shelving system is a frame of 2 cm-thick square steel tube in which an internal table top made from 2 cm-thick, solid oak wood has been integrated. The four drawers, also made of robust, reclaimed oak with an exciting wood grain, can be opened via a push-to-open function by applying slight pressure. To highlight the grain optimally, and to protect and care for the oak, it is treated several times with organic hard oil.
This versatile piece captivates with workmanship of the highest quality. Despite the obvious front and back, Vaals is suitable as a room divider or as a freestanding piece of furniture due to its open element without a rear panel. The steel is rust-sealed, but otherwise untreated.
