Concept

1972-2022 50 yeras. Karl Andersson & Söner has been producing and refining the KA72 storage system since 1972. The designer Göran Malmvall was Karl Andersson’s youngest son and apprentice of Carl Malmsten. Thanks to its versatility and the restrained elegance of its clean, uncluttered lines, KA72 has developed into a contemporary classic that today is found in both private homes and public spaces alike.
They are made using a blockboard construction and veneered in oak, birch, ash, cherry, standard colors, standard stains and white glazed on oak and ash. The appearance can be varied by the combination of glass or wooden doors and sides, and open shelving. If the intention is to place the cabinet away from a wall, it is necessary to order a back panel to cover the back of the cabinet. The fittings are nickel-plated or made of brass. Cabinets are supplied ready assembled with adjustable screws in the plinth to ensure they stand straight and steady. KA72 is perfect in the living room, conference room, kitchen, library, dining room, coffee corner and office or lobby area and can also be used as a side table, TV bench or display cabinet, etc.
