Concept
A journey through space and time towards a galaxy and Via Lattea pictures itself in a mountain pasture with a ‘brenta’ i.e. an aluminium container used for carrying fresh milk. When it arrives in town it switches to a container containing 10lt, very fashionable in the Fifties and nowadays representing a beautiful vintage piece. That’s the main inspiration of the lamp via Lattea with an optional handle to recreate warm and familiar atmospheres (when we were called by mum to run and buy some milk). Very recognizable shape manufactured in concrete, solid and comforting material to create paths in the outdoor space enlightening upwards towards the sky. Lighting can be focused thank you to a, adjustable cover which can be left open and able to bascule.
