Concept

The hand poured, 1 3/8" thick Borosilicate glass of the Frazier table top has an inherently organic quality which sets it apart from all other glass. This early 20th century material was once used for telescope lenses. The existing stock features occlusions and varying textures which give each sheet its own unique character. The slab floats above a solid silicon bronze base which, rather than being welded, is mechanically fastened with delicate bronze screws. The base is also available in nickel and other metals. The top is also available with a silvered finish.
