Concept

Paolo Zani has designed another carpet in the Mustache collection. To make it stand out from the others, he has given it an onomatopoeic name inspired by the bleating of sheep – so it is immediately clear which model is made of a blend of wool and viscose. Intended for indoor use, the carpet is made using the traditional handcrafted “dhurrie” technique originating in India, which allows a flat and resistant weft to be obtained. The decoration is minimalist, with woven line graphic details in contrasting colours. The short sides are edged with a fringe. On the rear, non-slip textured backing bonded with natural latex, obtained from the rubber tree, makes the carpet safe while giving it body and structure.
