Concept
Takeoff is a wall mirror with a small integrated tray designed specifically for a lobby to facilitate the small rituals that each of us performs without noticing when we leave the house in the morning and return in the evening: where we place our keys and our mobile phone, or look at our own reflection to make sure everything is okay. Designed by the
Berlin-based studio Jüngerkühn, the winner of the Cristalplant Design Contest 2019, Takeoff is inspired by an aeroplane window. Hence its name. It has a smooth, slightly concave profile, and a Cristalplant base with a fluid, rounded shape, which gives it a touch of overall lightness. The first object you notice when you get back home is, above all, the last one you look at when you leave, ready to start the day.
