Concept
Fil-à-Fil offers a multifaceted rhythm of intricate details and fine lines that appear as stripes within stripes. Bold and impactful, these tactile elements have a handwoven look referencing original sketches by designer Inga Sempé. The curtain brings an artisanal feel to the archetypal herringbone construction. The yarns made from linen, TENCEL™ lyocell and recycled silk interact to create sprinkles of contrasting colours that disrupt its tactile, soft surface. The ground matches that of Fil, a refined plain in this collection. Consequently, the two designs offer inspirational combination opportunities.
