Cosimo vase

The Cosimo vases are made from so-called studio glass, which clearly demonstrates its handcrafted character with irregularities and tiny air pockets, and each piece is mouth-blown using a special technique. The main component of the corpus is opaque black glass. During the mouth-blowing process, white glass particles are applied to the red-hot glass of the corpus and are blown into the piece as it is steadily turned. This creates an organic, graphic pattern. The vase is then polished by hand and given a fine linear surface structure, creating an almost ceramic effect that looks different on every piece. This unique vase should be hand-washed with lukewarm water and a mild dishwashing liquid. Tough limescale rings and deposits or plant residue can be removed with vinegar essence.
