At Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, Swedish designer Gunilla Allard adds brand new materials to the classic magazine rack Info from Swedish furniture company Lammhults.
Gunilla Allard creates a fresh take on an old classic. Now, the family grows with new materials and colours. In addition to the original one, in tempered glass, it now also comes in black or white MDF or natural or stained ash veneer for a somewhat softer expression. Gunilla Allard about Info: ”Info magazine rack does not only store printed material, it also creates architecture in the room. As a solitaire or along the entire wall.” Info is a display system that is mounted on the wall. It stores magazines, brochures, books etc. Together with the existing one in tempered glass, the new versions offer new possibilities to various environments. The magazine rack is offered both horizontal and vertical. The hooks, in flat steel, come in powder coat or chrome. You can choose between lacquered MDF or natural/stained ash combined with colourful hoops – or go for the original, in tempered glass and chromed hoops. Elegant or more playful – it is up to the user.
