Taburett Barstool

During Stockholm Furniture Fair in February Swedish Lammhults re-launched the first furniture in company history and it will now be shown at Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan. The stool Taburett (originally “282”) was designed already in 1955 by the founder of the company, Edvin Ståhl, and was a part of the collection for many years. In honor of the pioneer Edvin and his work Lammhults relaunches the stool, now called Taburett - just as modern today as in the 50’s.

A SMALL STOOL WITH A LONG HISTORY
Taburett is still as practical, timeless simple in its design as when first presented in 1955. One difference from the original is that the button that attaches the seat now is adorned with the letter “L” as in Lammhults and that the stool is offered in new colours. Apart from the original height, Taburett now comes in two additional heights, 63 and 78 cm, for further areas of use. The stool finds its home as a visitor’s chair, in the cafeteria, in schools and other public areas, in hospitals etc. Taburett is stackable and comes in white, grey, black, red or orange ABS plastic. The seat can also be upholstered in fabric or leather. The button in the seat follows the frame that comes in chromium plated or powder coated steel tubing. By the choice of fabric, you can create completely different expressions – all stools in one colours, or all with individual colour combinations. Lammhults founder, Edvin Ståhl, was born 1896 in the Swedish village of Lammhult and had an early interest in furniture design. In 1945, he started a small mechanical workshop, Lamhults Mekaniska Verkstad AB, which produced fittings and other details to the local furniture industries. When Edvin after about ten years began designing and producing furniture in the workshop the company was renamed to Lammhults Möbel AB. Since then, the company has produced a number of timeless, elegant products, several of them having become classics.

Note! Powder coats 800 black, 871 aluminium matt and 873 anthracite are not recommended. Texture powder coats 801 black, 891 white and 875 graphite can be used instead.
