Product description
Concept
The City hall in The Hague, which was designed by Richard Meier, bears witness to a natural harmony between the exterior and interior. The sculptural geometry of the building with its subtle details appears again in the furniture collection CHTH (City Hall The Hague). This collection is characterised by a dialogue between hard (steel) and soft (wood), as well as open and enclosed elements. The desk is manufactured with enclosed sides that give a feeling of total privacy. It started life as a harmonious product which included the rectangular form of the work top and storage area. The panel and legs are made of steel and cover the mechanism that lifts the table. A manual, mechanical or electronic height adjustment is optional. The furniture is also available as a side table/bistro table. The height of the sides is the same as the height of the filing cabinet, therefore, painting a rigid picture. Cable ducts, with simple geometric detailing, ensure that computers and other equipment can be connected easily, using the built-in cable grommet. CHTH is especially suitable for meeting rooms and managers’ offices. CHTH is made completely out of recyclable material.
