Offering perfect comfort, the pukka collection is a little marvel of design, which finds its roots in the great c&b period when gaetano pesce presented his up50 collection in 1969. the latter had created a collection which paid homage to the sponge, affirming that he had been fascinated by a sponge in his shower and the way in which it always sprang back into its original shape. yabu & pushelberg thus take up this theme, adding a feminine design, soft and organic, which fills the space with sensual comfort. the detail of the stitching, the use of ultra-flexible foams and the tension of its lines obliged us to strive for a perfect piece of upholstery. this was only possible with the use of our very stretchiest fabrics: the new gentle fabric, in particular, which is a 100 % wool stretch velvet, clothes it perfectly.
