From the pendant lamps we developed for the Viennese Beer Pub “1516” we were invited to supply matching wall sconces The shade is made from copper, inspired by the typical brewer’s cauldron. To give the fixture an elaborate allure we also used nickel-plated trimmings and a décor made from polished brass. This was envisioned as homage to Art Deco with the typical cut-out square pattern.
The light is concentrated downwards through the solid shade. For additional illumination of the ceiling a single bulb shines upwards with close to no light to the sides.
