Hansen
Suspended lights from LOBMEYR, Designed by Theophil Hansen
Product description
Concept
Theophil Hansen, one of the most prominent architects of the “Ringstraßen Period” designed this lantern for a mansion he built around 1875. The lantern is made with utmost care and precision not relying on simplifying techniques. So for example the decoration on the decorative beading is not made from pressed sheet metal but with additional brass rods screwed on the material.
The floral designs on the bottom and on top are elaborately cast and refined on our workshop.
