Erik | bed, 90 x 200 cm - stackable, RAL 7032 pebble grey

Bedframes from Magazin®, Designed by Daniel Kern

Product description

The ERIK bed is a simple and extremely stable bed frame in the best sense of the word, made of six square steel tubes and two folded steel sheets that are screwed together crosswise at the corners. The steel plates on the sides prevent the mattress from slipping. The ERIK bed is also stackable: when used twice, it can be easily transformed from a stacked single bed or daybed into a double bed in no time at all. The pragmatic bed frame is designed for the classic 90 x 200 cm mattress and slatted frame format. The height of the slatted frame and mattress together should not exceed 17 cm to ensure stackability. Easy to assemble and quick to dismantle thanks to the screw connection, the ERIK bed is also suitable for temporary use or the occasional change of location

We appreciate the aesthetics of this easy-to-combine and universally applicable bed frame. The archetypal corner construction is familiar: it is based on a wooden construction that has been used by generations of carpenters for centuries. We are most familiar with it from the designs of the Dutch carpenter and architect Gerrit Rietveld

We supply the frame disassembled and with adjustable feet. 4 metal cover caps for the open square tubes/bed legs are available separately. The maximum height of the slatted frame used is 7 cm.

Dimensions: W 94 × L 207 × H 21.5 cm
Weight: 19.8 kg
Material: Steel, powder-coated

The ERIK bed is a simple and extremely stable bed frame in the best sense of the word, made of six square steel tubes and two folded steel sheets that are screwed together crosswise at the corners. The steel plates on the sides prevent the mattress from slipping.

The 90 cm version of ERIK is stackable: it can be easily transformed from a stacked single bed or daybed to a double bed in no time at all when used twice. The pragmatic bed frame is designed for the classic 90 x 200 cm mattress and slatted frame format. The height of the slatted frame and mattress together should not exceed 17 cm to ensure stackability. Easy to assemble and quick to dismantle thanks to the screw connection, the ERIK bed is also suitable for temporary use or the occasional change of location.
In the 160 cm version, the steel tube in the middle reinforces the construction of the large bed and allows the use of 2 slatted frames of 80 × 200 cm each. The pragmatic frame is designed for the classic mattress format of 160 × 200 cm.
