Product description
ERIK is a versatile table frame. It features eight steel tubes in angular form screwed crosswise at the corners – a construction resulting in high stability. The peripheral positioning of the legs provides a lot of space under whatever tabletop you lay onto the frame. The wide range of dimensions a tabletop may have that you choose for laying on top of the structure leaves you with several design options: projecting on one side or all sides (such as 220 × 90 cm), flush with the outer edges of the frame (147 × 77 cm) or even receding with an exposed knot construction (140 × 70 cm). No tabletop is included in the delivery; however, you will easily find a matching one. While you can combine the frame with any material and almost any size, we recommend the linoleum table tops from our range.
ERIK fits in work areas, studios and the dining room. The bolting of the table also allows temporary use whenever and wherever you need additional space for your work or a presentation. Even a quick change of location is easily done. Plus, the tubular parts take up very little space when disassembled.
We particularly appreciate the universal usability of this table frame and its mix-and-match design. The archetypal corner construction is not new and therefore looks familiar in a pleasant way. For centuries it has been known mainly as a wooden construction, used by generations of carpenters. It seems most familiar from the designs of the Dutch carpenter and architect Gerrit Rietfeld.
We deliver the frame disassembled. It comes with support rubbers for tabletops on the crossbars, adjustable feet and end caps on the top end of the table legs (you can screw on the tabletop at these points).
Dimensions: W 147 x D 77 x H 72 cm
Weight: 15 kg
Material: Steel, powder-coated
